"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

Eat, Pray, Love- and Rome!

Only a short post tonight since this is being written on the computer in the lobby of our hostel in Rome... at 12:52 in the morning... and its this weird european keyboard I cant quite figure out! Today has been great and full of so much walking, sightseeing and, of course, eating! Cross another one off the bucket list as the 5 of us finished not only one but THREE genuine authentic pizzaa at da Michele in Naples-- the authentic home of pizza and the place where Julia Roberts shot the movie Eat, Pray, Love. They were AMAZING and so worth the full stomach that we all still have. After that we got our train to Rome, and just over two hours later arrived at our first stop, the Yellow Hostel. Its a great location near the train station and seems full of young people-- theres actually a resteraunt and bar downstairs that seems like a fun place to hang out. We found our room on the fifth floor and settled in before going off to explore, get gelato (we made a pact to eat it every day, after all) and finally ended up at the Trevi Fountain! I threw my three coins in at midnight to celebrate my birthday (European time anyway) and we grabbed a cab home. A celebratory glass of champagne with the girls came free with our welcome-to-the-yellow-drink tickets, and off to bed we go. Trying to fit all of Rome into one day tomorrow will be tough but we are going to try :) Pictures, stories and much more to come, I promise!
